My daughter enjoyed a wide variety of activities, and children are always given a choice — whether to stay at home to play or do crafts, or go on adventures to the woods, beach, soft play, or other places. My daughter especially loved visiting Wyvernwood and Colchester Zoo. Laura also makes sure the children eat healthily and have plenty to drink. “Laura looked after our son two days a week over the summer holidays and he had a brilliant time. She did loads of fun activities with him - crabbing, swimming at the pool and in the sea, crafts, baking, trips to Wyvernwood and soft play. Her communication was excellent throughout, telling us the weekly plan in advance and sending pictures and location pins during the day. I loved the thoughtful touches that made it special for him, like taking his figures to the beach to play with on the sandcastle they built together. Laura really tuned into his interests, energy levels and moods, adapting to meet him where he was. She has a lovely way with kids - talking to them as equals. She was brilliant at drawing him out when he was shy and encouraging his independence, which gave his confidence a real boost.”
